Lean manufacturing parts Our facility consists of 5 manufacturing cells.
Each cell is dedicated to a specific product family for a variety of customers. Parts are assigned to their cells based upon common characteristics and features. Once a part is assigned to a cell it becomes a permanent job within that cell.

Lean manufacturing facilities
All fixturing, tooling, cutting tools, the part program and manufacturing instructions reside at the cell. All quality functions for the parts are also performed within the cell. The part is then pulled through the manufacturing process and in most cases a finish product is produced. Lean manufacturing enables us to continually reduce our set-up times, cycle times and lead-times.

We manufacture a variety of complex manifolds, housing & valve blocks in this cell that are permanently tooled and meet a geometry and architecture that allows us to continually run parts with no set-up.  This cell gives us huge flexibility to change quantity and delivery to support customer requests.  Material types for this product group include 6061 & 7075 aluminum, 15-5 & 17-4 stainless steels, as well as titanium.  The parts in this cell are made from solid material (hog-outs), in addition to castings and forgings.

2 EACH MATSUURA H PLUS 405 4 AXIS HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER, 12,000 RPM, 6 PALLETS, 25.0" CUBE WORK ENVELOPE, 240 TOOLS, FANUC CNC CONTROLS.

1 EACH MATSUURA H PLUS 405 4 AXIS HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER, 12,000 RPM, DUAL PALLETS, 25.0" CUBE WORK ENVELOPE, 80 TOOLS, FANUC CNC CONTROLS.

1 EACH TOYODA FH 450, 4 AXIS HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER, 12,000 RPM, DUAL PALLET, 24.0" CUBE WORK ENVELOPE, 80 TOOLS, FANUC CNC CONTROLS.

 

We manufacture a variety of Small to medium manifolds, bodies, housings and valve blocks are machined in this cell. The machining emphasis in this cell is milling with some secondary turning operations. Material types for this product group include 6061, 7075, 2024 aluminum, 300 series steels, 17-4, 15-5, 13-8 stainless steels, and 6AL 4V titanium. The parts in this cell are made from solid material, (hog-outs) as well as castings and forgings.

Cylinder, Gland, Support, Flange and Cap Manufacturing Cell:

Material types for this product group include 6061, 7075, 2024 aluminum, 300 series steels, 17-4, 15-5, 13-8 stainless steels, and 6AL 4V titanium.We manufacture a variety of Cylinders, Glands, Supports, Flanges and Caps in this cell. The machining emphasis in this cell is turning with some secondary milling operations. Material types for this product group include 6061, 7075, 2024 aluminum, 300 series steels, 17-4, 15-5, 13-8 stainless steels, and 6AL 4V titanium. The parts in this cell are made from solid material, (hog-outs) as well as castings and forgings.

General Machining Cell:

The machining emphasis in this cell is equally split between milling turning. The machining emphasis in this cell is equally split between milling turning. Material types machined in this cell include 6061, 7075, 2024, A-357, A-357 aluminum, 300 and 400 series steels, 17-4, 15-5, 13-8 stainless steels, electromagnetic steels, 6AL-4V titanium and magnesium. The parts in this cell are made from solid material, (hog-outs) as well as castings and forgings.

MACHINING CAPABILITIES
2 each MITSUISEIKI HU63A, 5-Axis Machining Centers, 50 taper, 12,000 RPM, 30 pallets, 24.8 X 24.8, 35.4 X 31.5 X 31.5 work envelope, 180 tools per machine, FANUC CNC CONTROL, FMS SYSTEM.

Prototype, Short-run and Tooling:

We manufacture short-run and prototype parts, as well as tooling in this cell. The machining emphasis in this cell is equally split between milling, turning, and grinding. This cell serves as a support cell for the other machining cells. Material types machined in this cell include 6061, 7075, 2024, A-357, A-357 aluminum, 300 and 400 series steels, 17-4, 15-5, 13-8 stainless steels, electromagnetic steels, 6AL-4V titanium and magnesium. The parts in this cell are made from solid material, (hog-outs) as well as castings and forgings.
